Ellipsoid or geometric anisotropy is a widely used method in geostatistical analysis to obtain variograms with different ranges directions (azimuth) and relatively similar sill variance. indispensable mining when resource geologist intends understand the spatial continuity of variables related any geological controls mineralization.
